HOW SMARTTAB™ CAN REPLACE INJECTIONS FOR TREATMENTS OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder that can affect the joints and is capable of damaging numerous parts of the body. Rheumatoid arthritis is currently treated with biologics, meaning a patient has to inject themselves weekly. Swallowing a pill is not an option because the proteins in biological therapies will not survive digestive enzymes, whose role is to break things down.

The wirelessly powered and remote controlled SmartTab™ would remain intact traveling to the targeted area and inject the active ingredients into the side of the intestinal wall within the GI tract.

  • Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriasis

  • Age-related macular degeneration

SmartTab™ is working to save lives and making Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment as effective and painless as possible—SmartTab™ is a more targeted solution.

The patient will swallow a capsule instead of the pain of an injection once a day or once a week.

Our long-term vision is that the SmartTab will be used by every person, in every household, in every country to help individuals lead better lives.
